Happy Spring! I hope you had a restful and relaxing Spring Break!

In our last quarter of the school year, we welcome back quite a few students who have not been on campus this year.

Please be patient as we have parents who are new to PikMYKid, and dismissal could be more congested and may back right up to secondary announce times.

For arrival, parents are welcome to balance out the lines and use both the blue and yellow lines for drop off in grades 1-5.

Please make sure your child stays in their vehicle until a staff member is out there to welcome them at 7:30 am.

Online art show features 4th and 5th grades

Fourth and fifth grade students have been working hard to research artists and create their own artwork in Ms. Reese's class.
Students selected their own artist for inspiration, created their design, picked their media and had fun creating!

Student earns near perfect spelling bee score

We are very proud of Alisa Salikhov in 5th Grade. She participated in the Austin Regional Spelling Bee, competing against other area schools. To participate at this level, it takes an impressive amount of knowledge in language, spelling and vocabulary and should be celebrated!

She scored a near perfect score. Congratulations, Alisa!

Return of School-owned Devices

If your student is back on campus and you have checked out a school-owned device, please consider returning the device to school this week.

If you need to switch to distance learning during the 4th quarter, we can check out your child’s in-person device to take home for that period of distance learning.

Please return the device and charger together in a bag, either delivered in your child’s backpack or dropped off at the front office during business hours (7:30 am – 4 pm).
Meridian Masks/Funky Socks to be delivered next week

If you ordered Meridian Masks and Funky Socks, we should have them to distribute beginning next week. If your children are learning on campus, we will give the order to the student name listed on the order. If your child is a distance learner, we will let you know when you can come and pick up your purchases.
STAAR survey for 3rd-5th grade parents due March 29 at 8 am

Please complete the STAAR survey that was sent to your email. Meridian needs to plan and prioritize space and resources for our testing students, so your participation in this survey is essential. Please fill out this survey for every student you have enrolled in grades 3-5. Testing takes place in April, May, and the beginning & end of June.
