India's Mars Mission Makes History

Indian space agency's low-cost mission to Mars has successfully entered the red planet's orbit, crowning India as the first country to execute such a project in its maiden attempt. At a cost of just $74 million, India joins an elite club of Martian explorers alongside the United States, the European Space Agency, and the former Soviet Union.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Speech at Madison Square Garden

Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a speech at Madison Square Gardenon September 28. In front of an audience of approximately 19,000 in one of New York City's premiere venues, Prime Minister Modi spoke about India's economic and technological progress and the country's ties with the US. His speech was one of several high-profile events that took place during his visit to the US.
