Elementary schools are currently hiring afterschool counselors. You must be at least 18 years of age and love working with children! High school students are eligible for hire.
This is a great opportunity to start your career with The School District of Palm Beach County. You may be able to start or return to college with a full scholarship, including books and be eligible for financial incentives. Salary begins at $15.30 per hour for an afterschool counselor. Securing Our Future
Economic Mobility Summit
| The goal of the summit is to bring systems leaders together in support of families who are unemployed or underemployed. The summit will consist of a plenary session and eight workshops plus a lunchtime panel discussion. The workshops will provide information about ways organizations involved in the systems can work collaboratively to help families earn more and move out of poverty. The systems are: housing and homelessness, employment, childcare, education, safety and justice, food and hunger, health and transportation. |

Opportunity to Youth in Afterschool

Calling all children in grades 2 through 12 who love to sing. Looking for an afterschool activity that fosters creative excellence, personal growth and social development?
Join Young Singers of the Palm Beached Youth Community Choir. We have programs at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and the Boynton Beach Cultural Center. Auditions are scheduled for September 10, and 14, 2022. Scholarships are available and no child is turned away for financial reasons.

Prime Time also offers OST orientation both in live and self-paced online formats:
Self-paced online session: This online, self-guided session will take you through modules to complete the orientation in approximately 15 minutes. This option allows you to start immediately.
Live online session: This online orientation is led by our registry coach and uses the ZOOM platform. You will complete the orientation and application as well as obtain assistance with the process.

It's another Prime Time Tuesday - this week featuring Washington Elementary, which began its afterschool Prime Time Young Singers Choir on August 16. The children are learning “The Foundations of Music” with Music Teacher LaToya Wilson. We love their pride and spirit! Thank you to Prime Time Palm Beach County and the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County for this wonderful afterschool opportunity for youth to experience arts and culture.
