Take a look back at Prime Time’s 2018-2019 impact, milestones and successes within the out-of-school time field. We used a "rocket ship" graphic throughout the report to indicate we are not slowing down in the pursuit of quality to support our community's children.

The Milagro Teen Center Featured on Chanel 5 WPTV
In this unique time in our history, Milagro Center Teen Leadership Program Coordinator Anthony Bacchus wanted the people he works with to have an opportunity to express frustrations and aspirations.

Bacchus says he wants the teens he works with to “reflect on what we’re going through now with COVID-19 and also Black Lives Matter, so we came up with the theme 'I CAN breathe,' vs 'I can’t breathe.'”

The theme, “I CAN Breathe,” inspired his idea for a time capsule project.
Through art and poetry, students are encouraged to find a bright side in a dark time.
Fighting the Summer Slide with Brain food Activity Kits
Club families who benefit from Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County’s food programs can expect an added bonus. Since March, Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County has handed out more than half a million meals to children and a week’s worth of groceries to more than 54,000 Club family members.

Now, for 5 weeks, Club families will get literacy-based activity kits added to their food packages. The kits not only help nourish our Club families’ bodies but also stimulate Club children’s brains during a time that reading is traditionally not top of mind. Kits include engaging books and supplies for a wide variety of camp experiences at home. Parents can also rest easy because no technology is required for these activities!
Keep your children learning and having fun this summer with new sessions every week that will include live interactive programming and hands-on learning activities provided by local content experts. All sessions are free and open to the public.
