An Update from our Preschool Director

We are looking forward to our Preschool Summer Program, and we are open to everyone.
The theme for Summer Program is: JESUS wants me to know Him better and tell others about His love.
In July we are going to have fun and time to learn new worship songs, memorize a Bible verse every week, science projects, art, reading fun story and music and movements.

Prince of Peace is now accepting enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year! We will be offering In-class instruction, 5 full days a week, following CDC Guidelines. For more Information please contact Heather, our school Secretary

8:00am and 10:30am
. We will be streaming the service to our YouTube Channel for those that wish to worship from home. Even though we are resuming a more regular service, we continue to ask that congregants please practice social distancing and be seated every other pew. We have
Resumed the Lord’s Supper
as a public gathering! We will still be providing individual communion for those wishing to receive The Lord’s Supper privately, and are not yet comfortable with attending regular services. Pastor will be available at the church to commune individuals or families Monday through Thursday from 10am-7pm, or Sunday after 12pm.

WILD WEST ADVENTURE! Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is normally held in June but we are postponing it to
August 3rd-6th
to give more people a chance to feel comfortable as quarantine and Covid restrictions are eased. As always,
we will be in need of Volunteers to help set up, organize and lead our VBS Groups.
We also would love any donations of Western themed items
to help decorate or use for crafts! if anyone is interested in contributing, please contact Pastor Sheek. You can register your child by calling or emailing the church or online via our event page below! Please feel free to share this event on social media and encourage your children to bring friends or other children from your communities!

The Living Way Bible Study group meets every week through summer. The next study will be
Tuesday July 7th,
and will be on The Gospel of Luke.

in the Fellowship room. We will meet in person and continue to practice social distancing. We have plenty of tables so everyone can spread out! Please remember your mask or face covering to keep yourself and others safe. In the meantime, you are welcome to read ahead to get acquainted
with the scriptures.

We thank God that our congregation remains healthy and so far, free from the Covid-19 Virus! We pray for everyone’s continued health and strength as we move forward!
- For all those separated from their families, friends, church family, and work during this health crisis, and for those suffering from Covid -19 across the globe.
- For all those unemployed or under-employed, that their daily needs be met and their trust in our Lord, who provides, will be strengthened.
- For our staff, teachers, students, and families at Prince of Peace, that our Lord would sustain them all through these days as we strive to continue and support the mission of our church and school.
- Pray for continued student enrollment at Prince of Peace School and Preschool and outreach efforts into the community.
- Members at Prince of Peace to grow in faith and love for one another, willing to give of our gifts and talents within the congregation, serving and sharing Christ with our neighbors, family, and friends.
- The Drennan family would like you to pray for the Manny, who is suffering from Covid-19, Margie who is on Hospice and Breanna who recovering from injuries.
- Tony and Donna Beltran – Prayers for continued strength and healing.
- Tom Olmos – Prayer for protection from the virus at his facility.
- Violetta – Grandmother of one of our students, recovering from Covid -19

- We have been working hard to update our member contact information. We now have our printed Church Directories, which you can pick up either in your designated mail box or at the church office.
- Our goal is to send out a new “News and Updates” email to all of our members on Tuesday of each week. This email highlights important upcoming events for both the church and school. You can even check out the scripture readings for upcoming Sunday Services ahead of time! Please be sure to check your emails every Tuesday.
