Message from Superintendent Tom Burton
The Princeton Board of Education approved a modification to the school district’s 2022-2023 calendar, making Wednesday, January 11, 2023, a professional learning day for elementary staff to participate in safety training.

Elementary buildings will be closed for students, including those participating in Head Start, on January 11th. Elementary students will be given work or projects to complete at home, on their own timeline, for Wednesday, January 11th. 

Champions will be open for full-day childcare at Springdale Elementary on January 11th. This is open to all Champions participants.

Princeton High School (PHS), Innovation Center, and Princeton Community Middle School (PCMS) staff have completed their training during scheduled professional development times or before January 4th. Students attending school in these buildings will have in-person classes as scheduled. PHS is scheduled for early release on Wednesday, January 11th.

Well Wishes for Damar Hamlin
Pictures from Sarah Taylor (wife of Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor) -- the get-well cards for Damar Hamlin have taken over their home! She is going to drop them off at UC Medical Center tonight.

Princeton students from across the district wrote letters, drew pictures, signed large cards, and the Princeton Football team signed a game ball. Princeton joined more than 40 Cincinnati schools to send the Buffalo Bills player messages of support and love: https://tinyurl.com/yh3csytx

Kindergarten students across the district worked hard on the iReady math diagnostic! They loved goal setting and then finding out if they met their goal. We are so proud of how much growth they have made so far this year! 
Congratulations to senior student JayDee Lorenzo for being accepted as an intern with our local business partner SpeedPro at the Sharonville location. Studio owner, Joe Diana is a long-time supporter of Princeton Schools and was excited to meet JayDee at the Business and Community Partner Breakfast.

JayDee plans to attend college to study Business and Marketing. Working as an intern at SpeedPro offers an opportunity for him to get hands-on experience in delivering digital marketing to customers.

Lincoln Heights Elementary fourth graders were visited by Ethicon, before the break. Each student completed a quiz on β€œWhat Kind of Smart Are you?” They discussed different types of learning and students identified themselves. They ended by making a picture frame craft together.

LADY VIKINGS RETURN HOME ON WEDNESDAY - RED OUT VS MASON

The Princeton High School girls basketball program will host the Mason Comets on Wednesday, January 11th, at Viking Arena. This game marks a pivotal matchup for the league standings as both sit atop of the conference with Lakota East. Mason defeated Princeton 54-48 in their earlier matchup on November 30th.

We want you in the stands on Wednesday to support our Lady Vikings. It will be a RED OUT, and all fans are encouraged to participate. Students that wear their RED RAGE RED OUT shirt will be admitted into the game FREE of charge.
