New! Panorama Survey (Feb. 22 - Mar. 19)
For the last 4 years, DCPS has asked parents and students to take 10-15 minutes to fill out the Panorama Survey. The parent and student surveys are not only critical to providing feedback to DCPS Central Office, but also our school administration as well. The window for the Panorama survey will open on Monday, Feb. 22. Both virtual and in-person students will complete the survey in class. If you would like for your child to opt-out of the survey, please complete the Panorama survey opt-out form (English or Spanish) and email it to Zaneta Han at zaneta.han@k12.dc.gov. For the parent survey, we ask that you go to bit.ly/dcpsfamily to access and complete the survey by the Friday, Mar. 19 deadline.

New! Track Coaches Needed for ES (4th/5th grade) & MS (6th-8th grade)
The 2020-2021 track season will run from mid-March to June 1, 2021. We are in need of 3-6 coaches (2-3 coaches for ES and MS track). If you’re interested or know someone who is, including current college students and/or recent college graduates, please contact Stuart Logan at 202-213-8309 or udfan1@gmail.com
Unfortunately, Oyster-Adams students will not be able to participate in track this school year if we don’t have coaches.
Qualifications/Additional Information:
- No coaching or track experience is required but coaches should be healthy enough to run with the team from the Adams campus to Rock Creek Park, where the practices will occur.
- All coaches must be certified in CPR/AED/First Aid via one hands-on (not online) half-day or shorter class.
- You will also need to be fingerprinted/background-checked and satisfy a few additional requirements. We will help you with everything.
- All practices will be conducted outdoors using Covid-safe practices.
- Two coaches for each middle school team will be eligible to receive modest stipends as will one coach for each elementary school team. Coaches do not have to accept the stipends.
New! OCC Committees
We need your ideas. We need your ideas and talents to make Oyster-Adams better for everyone! Please consider volunteering or nominating someone else to serve on one of the OCC's new working groups. Each group will be composed of both Board members and OA parents.

Please submit pictures of your students learning virtually in the SY20-21 Yearbook Pictures Google folder, under the appropriate grade-level folder.
Join HER Initiative for a run/walk anytime between March 13-21. To register, click this link and pay the $15 registration fee by February 26. Proceeds will go to The Oyster Adams COVID Relief Fund to help support our community during this difficult time.
