Dear Giant Family,
I am thrilled to share that this month marks the beginning of our Annual Charity Drive, a cherished tradition that unites Highland Park High School as a community of compassion and action. Tomorrow, we will gather for our opening assembly to officially kick off this incredible month-long effort.
For over two decades, the Charity Drive has been a defining moment of the school year for me—an opportunity to embrace the power and responsibility we have to make a difference. This year, we are honored to support the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation, an organization dedicated to fighting gastrointestinal cancers. Supporting this cause is a privilege, allowing us to contribute to life-saving work and stand in solidarity with those impacted by these illnesses.
Throughout the month, there will be countless ways for students to get involved—whether by fundraising, spreading awareness, or participating in events. Every dollar raised, every conversation started, and every action taken moves us closer to creating a world where more people can survive and thrive after cancer.
Philanthropy is a core part of our GIANT values at Highland Park High School, and this is our moment to show the compassion, creativity, and commitment that define our community. Tomorrow’s assembly will set the tone for an inspiring and impactful month, and I cannot wait to see the energy and heart our students will bring to this effort.
Thank you for your continued passion and dedication. Together, let’s make this year’s Charity Drive the best one yet!
As always, thank you for sharing your students with us this week and beyond,
Holly
