From the Principal...

Dear St. Norbert School Families,

As we approach the one-year anniversary of the COVID pandemic, I am writing to share with you that SNS will shift to a full 5-day school week beginning the week of May 2nd.

This decision was led by several factors. The faculty and staff teachers will be vaccinated by the end of April based on the current timelines provided to us by Chester County Health Department. The return to a full 5-day school week will allow for additional instructional time and have the entire school community acclimate to a full-week schedule before the end of the school year. The Wednesday academic schedule is in the process of being updated and preparations are being made to provide bus transportation, the lunch program and CARES on Wednesdays in May. Additional details will be shared shortly.

While I hope this news will be well-received by everyone, I realize this shift may be another schedule change for our students who are learning virtually. I want to thank these families for their patience, perseverance, and good humor as they have navigated the trials and tribulations of bandwidth, simultaneous zooms and learning from home.

As a school community, we have been very fortunate to have offered Workday Wednesdays this year. I commend the teachers for their hard work and am very grateful to all the parents for their support. I look forward to a healthy and closer to normal spring season.

Blessings to your families,
Mrs. Mary Kay Hennessy, Principal
