Dear Falcon Families,

Catholic Schools Week is finally here!  Catholic Schools Week is a time for us to reflect on the exceptional values and teachings that make our school community truly unique. We will kick off our week with our Open House on Sunday, January 28, where we warmly welcome you to explore our school, meet our dedicated faculty, and experience firsthand the nurturing environment that defines Saint Rita School. It's a fantastic opportunity for you to witness the exceptional education your children receive within the supportive embrace of our faith-based community.

We sincerely hope to see all our families at the Open House, making it a day of unity, celebration, and shared joy. Let's come together to strengthen the bonds that make our Saint Rita School community so special.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to celebrating Catholic Schools Week with you!

LifeAct AT SAINT RITA SCHOOL:

On February 6, 7, and 8 LifeAct will visit Saint Rita School to meet with students in grades 6, 7, and 8. To contextualize these visits, please note that in 2021, Ohio General Assembly passed the Safety and Violence Education Students (SAVE Students) ACT (House Bill 123). The focus of this Bill was to ensure student safety through education in the areas of:

1. Suicide awareness and prevention;

2. Safety training and violence prevention; and

3. Social inclusion.

To meet this requirement, Saint Rita School has partnered with LifeAct. LifeAct is a free program designed to teach youth to recognize depression and the warning signs of suicide and access help for themselves and/or peers. For more information, check out this link. If you would not like your child to participate, email your student’s homeroom teacher. Your student will wait in the office during the program.

LUNCH ORDER DEADLINES

All lunch orders for hot dogs, Chick-fil-A, Jersey Mike’s subs, and Romeo’s Pizza need to be made through the FACTS parent portal by 8:00pm on Mondays. No exceptions will be made for phone calls or text messages. We appreciate your understanding.

Chick Fil A  on Ash Wednesday will only serve Mac N Cheese.  When orders are placed the weekend prior, the only option will be Mac N Cheese.
