Hello Grace School Families. I hope that you are all healthy and have been able to enjoy time together this spring break despite the restrictions of the shelter in place order. As we look forward, the current order is that everyone stay in their homes through April 7, but I believe we should be prepared for this to be extended and e-learning to continue for a few more weeks. I will keep you posted as new orders are put in place. In the meantime, here are a few items for the coming week.

Sunday: Grace Church continues to stream a Sunday service live at 8:30am. The service can also be viewed at a later time. You can find links for this on the church website:

Monday: Spring Break is extended one additional day for our students while our teachers receive training on more ways to lead distance learning.

Tuesday: e-Learning begins again. Teachers will have information posted on their webpage by 8:30am.

Wednesday: Pastor Lyle will lead a virtual school chapel service at 8:30am. You will find it on the Grace Lutheran School Facebook page. Pastor will also be leading Lenten services at 11:30am and 7:00pm on this day. Like the Sunday services, you can find these through our website.

Thursday and Friday continue as regular eLearning days.

With days off coming up for Good Friday and Easter Monday, we will have three consecutive weeks of only four school days per week.

I pray for the continued health of all of our students and families.  Don’t be afraid to reach out to me if there is a way we can help you during this challenging season. May God, our creator and sustainer, lift us all up, and give you peace.
