Note from Principal Adam Hart
Clyde Hill Campus
"The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times,
And they are not for you to know."
-Acts 1:7

Dear Families and Students,

We have made many plans this year, and then made them again, and then once everything was settled – we changed them! God has shown us with great love that all plans belong to Him. We continue to remain steadfast while drawing our strength and peace from Christ as we continue to adapt, learn, and prepare young people to live faithfully for Him.

Below are the details of our most recent updates.

COVID-19
  • Our campus has had 5 additional positive cases of COVID-19. We have been able to successfully complete all contract tracing and identify close contacts to quarantine. We remain vigilant and all procedures will continue to be in place.
  • New Guidance: Anyone, including students, who is a close contact and fully vaccinated does not need to quarantine unless symptoms develop. Fully vaccinated is defined as 2 weeks after your 2nd shot (or 1st if Johnson & Johnson).
  • With the 2-week pause, our day-to-day operations are essentially the same. Classes, sports, AP Exams, and other programming will continue as they have been since the shift to Phase 3. Some end-of-year events will be virtual including 8th-grade Graduation and our high school Awards Ceremony.

Junior-Senior Banquet (JSB)
  • We are still planning for JSB to take place in person at Inglewood Golf Club on May 22nd! If Governor Inslee shifts King County to Phase 2, JSB may include seniors and their guests only. We are anticipating this possible update around May 18.
  • In the meantime, tickets will go on sale virtually next week. Guest Forms can be found at the front desk and must be turned in by Monday, May 17th with a signature from the guest’s school.

National Honor Society Induction Ceremony
  • Our formal ceremony will occur on Tuesday, May 11th at 4pm in Greene Commons. This event will be in person for students only. We were initially hoping to invite family members however we made the collective decision to make this change. We will make arrangements for the ceremony to be live-streamed. This ceremony is for all who have been accepted into NHS both last spring and this spring. Attendance is mandatory. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Johnson at ajohnson2@bellevuechristian.org.

Soli Deo Gloria,
