Principal's Message

June 10, 2016

Dear Families and Friends of OLQP:

The school year is just barely over and already teachers and staff are working to prepare for the 2016-2017 school year. Teachers are moving classrooms and attending workshops. Admin is working to shift offices and improve our business model. Tours are being scheduled. Summer Camp preparations are under way and will welcome between 65 and 70 campers each week. Summer help has arrived to do the heavy lifting, painting, and computer updates. Admin and teachers have scheduled meetings for calendar, curriculum work, and more. The campus is a beehive of activities.

Unfortunately, the flooding is touching many of our OLQP families. We are all watching the water and praying for the best possible outcome for everyone.

Know that we are keeping you in our prayers and trust that OLQP remains in yours. Have a safe and blessed summer vacation. We are already looking forward to 2016-2017 - the 30 ^th anniversary of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic School!

News You Can Use....

OLQP Summer Office Hours are 9:30am-2:00pm, Monday-Thursday. The office will be closed on Fridays.

Students are welcome to take AR tests on Wednesdays from 10am to 2pm during the weeks that Summer Camp is in session.

It's not too late to sign up for STREAM Summer Camp. This camp will be held August 1-5 from 9am-12pm for students entering Kinder-6th grades. Representatives from DOW will be on campus each day to share their knowledge with our campers. Click here more for information and click here for registration form.
