Message from the Principal

Thank you for a great start to our the school year. We are busy getting settled in to the new year by practicing procedures, learning new routines and meeting new friends! As a reminder, parents are asked to review the Parent/Student Handbook and Student Technology Responsible Use policy with their children and send in the signed acknowledgement form. Both the Parent/Student Handbook and Technology Responsible Use policy may be found on the school website under the tab entitled, “Student Life” and on ParentsWeb under “Resource Document.” Signed forms may be sent to the school office via your child’s teacher. The blue acknowledgement form was included in the back to school packets given out on Orientation Day. Please contact the school office if you need additional copies.

Our primary form of communication with our families is done electronically through ParentsWeb, our new software system implemented this summer. Activation information was sent out on Tuesday via e-mail. Please contact the school office if you did not receive the e-mail. Please be sure to set up your account right away so you do not miss valuable information being sent home from the school.

I wish all of you a blessed weekend as we wrap up our first days of school!

Faith on Campus
Peace Orphanage
For the past few years, St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School has been partnering with this ministry to help support the girls and boys in the Friends of the Peace Orphanage in Mexico City. We have helped with funding toward tuition for select students, uniforms and school supplies for the children, and basic technology to provide support for their learning. With your help and support, we have been able to make a difference in the lives of the many children cared for at the Peace Orphanage. We offer continued prayers for the children as well as the Benedictine Sisters who care for them. More information about the Peace Orphanage can be found in the current “Ripples” newsletter.
