Mustang Messenger l September 27, 2018
Message from the Principal

This week’s message and after Mass reflection is about loving where you live and being loving where you live. One of the ways we can be loving in our school “neighborhood” is by exercising extreme caution while driving on campus. As you are entering and exiting campus, please take a second look for the children from the surrounding areas who are riding bikes or walking to school. They are doing an excellent job with their safety procedures but they need us to help by paying careful attention at all entrances and exits during arrival and dismissal. Please remember to always defer to pedestrians and travel slowly and with great care. Arrival and dismissal presents a wonderful opportunity to practice the art of patience and show love where we live!

If you have not yet signed up, please click here to see where help is still needed. As a reminder, all families are asked to commit a shift in the Kids’ Games area. Faith on Campus
Praying for Mrs. Rogers
The Kindergarteners came together in prayer to show their support for one of our school family members, Mrs. Karlene Rogers. Mrs. Rogers is out on extended medical leave undergoing treatment for cancer and recently underwent surgery. The Kindergarten team held a special prayer service on her behalf. We are so blessed to be in a place where we can come together in prayer for others!

Pre-K Fours
Our Pre-K4 students are discovering colors through STEM activities and experiments. STEM includes the subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math – subjects that are fun for kids of all ages. This experiment allows the students to explore art with science, using vinegar and baking soda to paint fizzy art. Lots of fun, while connecting science with art!
