After competing in four or five rounds of competition in one day, the following student placed in the Claremont High School's Bargain Belt Speech and Debate Invitational this past weekend. First, 9th grader Annette Lee made it to the final round in Novice Original Oratory. Next, the 9th grade pair of Audrey Ninofranco and Ari Klatzker placed First in Novice Duo Interpretation. Next, 11th grader Jane Kwak Made it to the final round of Open Humorous Interpretation. Then, 10th grader Ella Kim placed 2nd in  Open Humorous Interpretation. And lastly, 11th grader Matthew Martinez placed first in Open Program Oral Interpretation. The last two students garnered bids for future tournament of champion events.

• First quarter has come to a close. First quarter grades will be sent home this week. This is the half way point in the first semester. Finals are only seven weeks away!
• It is time to meet with our Junior class! If you are a Junior parent and would like to set up a meeting with your student's Counselor please reach out. ALL Juniors will be met with. We will cover information including Senior year classes, college research, dual enrollment, and financial aid.
