We have an exciting week ahead!
First, I’d like to invite you to our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the brand-new pool. Join us this Monday, October 14th, at 4:30 PM. We hope to see you there!
It’s also a big week for FUHS athletics. Many of our Fall sports teams are competing for league titles or playoff spots. Let’s come together and cheer on the Tribe as they give it their all!
Looking ahead, Homecoming is just two weeks away. As part of our annual tradition, we’ll be honoring distinguished alumni during our Wall of Fame Ceremony.
This year, we are proud to recognize Jesus “Jesse” Ayala (Class of 1998) and the late William “Bill” Gienapp (Class of 1962) on Friday, October 25th, at 5:00 PM, just before the Homecoming football game. Their plaques, showcasing their portraits and names, will be proudly displayed in the front office.
Jesse Ayala, now a professor at CSU Long Beach, has built an impressive 20+ year career in journalism, earning 4 Emmy Awards and 7 Edward R. Murrow Awards, overcoming many challenges along the way. Bill Gienapp, a celebrated history professor at Harvard University, was renowned as one of the nation's foremost Civil War scholars. We invite you to attend and help us honor their legacies.
