We Are The Heart of Fullerton! ❤️ | |
Good Evening Fullerton Families!
Each year we reach out to remind you about the importance of your voice in shaping the future of our school and community. Your input is invaluable, and we want to ensure that every family has the opportunity to contribute.
The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) survey is a critical tool that helps us understand the needs and priorities of our community. This survey provides a platform for you to share your thoughts on various aspects of our educational programs and services. Your feedback directly influences decisions related to budget allocations, programs, and initiatives that impact your child's education.
Taking the LCAP survey is a simple yet powerful way to make your voice heard and contribute to the enhancement of our school's educational experience. Your insights help us tailor our strategies to better meet the diverse needs of our students and families
Thank you for being a valued member of our FUHS family. Together, we can create a positive and inclusive educational environment that benefits every student. Please take the survey by December 15th!

Master Class
Sophomores Isa Calvo and Zoe McLaughlin were selected to participate in an exclusive Master Class led by the great singer/songwriter Michael Bublé. This event is the culmination of an Orange Countywide search for six students from area schools to participate. We are proud that two of the six performers who were selected represented Fullerton Union High School and the Academy of the Arts. Both students performed beautifully and we are so proud of their talent, creativity, and professionalism. It's another reason we are the ARTS!

Model United Nations Success!
The FUHS MUN Club began the competitive season at the BruinMUN Conference hosted by UCLA on November 11-12. Competing against 2100+ delegates in the biggest MUN conference of the West Coast, our MUNers fought hard to develop solutions for topics ranging from environmental indigenous knowledge to illegal fishing. Audrey Bae took home first place as Best Delegate in this conference and over half of the attendees were first-time competitors. We are excited to take on our next conferences in the spring semester!

In an electrifying display of athleticism and grit, the Tribe Varsity Girls & Boys Wrestling teams emerged victorious in a thrilling dual meet with their crosstown rivals, the Troy Warriors. While the JV team fell short in their match, they showcased their resilience with Cyrus Aviles earning the title of Junior Varsity Most Outstanding Wrestler. His impressive performance demonstrated the team's potential and promise for future victories. The Varsity girls' team took center stage next, showcasing their dominance with a resounding 48-18 victory. Ashlyn Vasquez, the Varsity Girls Most Outstanding Wrestler, led the charge, showcasing amazing technical skill with her takedowns and securing the pin. The climax of the evening arrived with the Varsity boys' match, and the Indians did not disappoint. They wrestled with unwavering determination, securing a decisive 48-25 victory over Troy. Emilio Castaneda, the Varsity Boys Most Outstanding Wrestler, captivated the crowd with his awesome takedown to a pin that clinched the victory and helped secure the Tribe's impressive lead.

Girls Volleyball
On Monday night, the girls had their banquet for the end-of-the-season awards to recognize their hard work and accomplishments, and to say thank you and farewell to the seniors. Thank you to all the seniors for all of your hard work and dedication to represent our school and our community. The ladies worked hard, not just on the court, but in the classrooms as well, as evidenced by 38 of the 49 athletes receiving the Scholar Athletes Award, with Noah Chung as the top Scholar athlete with the highest GPA. Congrats to all the awardees from all 3 levels. Congrats also go to Cora Sailhamer and Sofia Camargo for making the All-Freeway League 1st Team, and Angela Navarro and Avery Long for making the All-Freeway League 2nd Team. The returning players are eager for next season and are already working hard to prepare through their offseason strength and conditioning workouts. Go, Tribe!
