Good evening Fullerton Families!

It was homecoming weekend! We had an exciting rally, a great FUHS Wall of Fame Ceremony, and an awesome Football Game! Last night we finished it off with a Rockin' 70s Homecoming Dance and we had almost 1000 students attend! It was a great time!  I hope you had a great weekend Fullerton!

Fun Activities

Fun & Educational Field Trip

AP Human Geography students participated in a Geographic Information Systems field trip at Cal State Fullerton. Students saw a demonstration of the ways geography is used in a variety of jobs, analyzed geographic photos, and used online GIS software to map ethnic groups and poverty levels in the US and Orange County. Students were then treated to a campus tour by CSUF professors John Carroll, Zia Salim, and Freddi Bruschke.

Boys Water Polo

Boys polo has had an outstanding week so far. Jv starting the week off with a win against Sunny hills 13-5. Then taking on Sonora with a devastating 17-5 victory.

Varsity had a hard-fought match against La Habra, down 7-11 at halftime, we came back with Miles Mcandrew locking in the victory with a game-winning shot at the buzzer. Fullerton with the win 17-16!

Cross Country

This week some of our Cross Country runners were headed to the Clovis Invitational in Fresno. Best of luck to all our runners.

Girls Volleyball

The girls gave their best this week against Sonora and La Habra, unfortunately, losing both games. Hailee Nelson energized the defense with her great plays, diving after balls. Kaylee Koerth and Emily Finnegan lead the team in kills, while Havanna Pennington and Cassidy Mullens share the responsibility of directing the offense. Lauren Hansen has really stepped up lately, leading the team in blocks. Next week, will be against Buena Park for our senior night, and close out the game at Troy on Wednesday.

Girls Golf

The girls golf team only had one game this week against La Habra. They played the best this season even with tough putting conditions. They just couldn’t get the putts to drop. With two games remaining the girls look forward to Monday's game against Buena Park.

Girls Tennis

Girls Tennis had a rough week against Troy and Sunny Hills, losing both matches 8-10. The girls played hard and was very competitive but just came up short on both matches. We will get back on the winning track starting next Tuesday against Sonora and Thursday against La Habra.
