This past week Fullerton High School FFA celebrated National FFA Week. The week began with a member lunch at the farm, an ag education day on Wednesday, Tri Tip Drive-thru on Thursday, and Ice Skating Friday night with members of the Orange FFA Section (County FFA members). It was a time for members to reflect on the history of FFA and the importance of FFA and agriculture in our community, county, state, and nation. Our FFA program began in 1941 with 14 members. It was the first program in our school district. We currently have over 300 students in the program. Many alumni have gone on to pursue degrees and careers in the agriculture industry. We are proud to have veterinarians, ag business executives, dog groomers/trainers, vet techs, agriculture teachers, farmers, ranchers, and entrepreneurs on our alumni roster.
FFA provides the next generation of leaders who will change the world. FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
We are proud to have a thriving program right in the center of our city.
