Welcome to the 2024/2025 School Year

Dear Parents and Students of Fullerton Union High School,

It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the 21st principal of Fullerton Union High School. I am excited to undertake this new role and look forward to continuing the exemplary work that has been the hallmark of our school. It is a privilege to be part of such a distinguished school and community, and I am committed to supporting all our students and families and continuing the tradition of excellence. Fullerton Union High School is my home, and I hold a deep affection for everything it represents.

I have over 28 years of experience in education. Before assuming the role of Principal, I devoted 24 years to teaching and coaching at various schools. In 2020, I joined FUHS as an Assistant Principal overseeing Student Affairs, and subsequently, I served as the Assistant Principal of Instruction and Operations.

On a personal note, my wife Deanna, and I have been lifelong residents of this community. We are blessed with four adult children: Jessica, who is a teacher at SHHS, and her husband Turner, who has gifted us with our first granddaughter, Charlotte An; our son Bryce, a teacher in Moreno Valley, and his wife Stephanie, who are expecting our second granddaughter, Magnolia; our daughter Faith, a graduate of CSUF currently enrolled in the credential program at CSUF; and our son Cade, a graduate of Pacific University, now working for a logistics company in Hillsboro, Oregon, traveling the country.

We are fortunate at Fullerton to have an exceptional staff and passionate students. I feel incredibly privileged to serve as your new Principal.

Sincerely,

Jon Caffrey

Principal

Welcome to the 2024/25 school year! Here are a few quick Counseling updates:

  1. Due to our giant and amazing Freshman class we will be adding periods of Spanish and English. This will cause some schedule changes. We understand this is not ideal and will do our best to make the movement as easy as possible.
  2. Senior meetings will begin Wednesday August 21st. Please reach out to your student's Counselor to set up a meeting.
  3. Last day to change levels in a class (Honors/AP/IB to regular) Friday September 20th.
