Principal's Perspective  |  November 17, 2022

Dear De La Salle Community,

I write to thank all who have helped set the tone for supporting our students and faculty, both in and out of school, during these first months of the school year. It takes deliberate attention to the needs of each student to create and sustain a culture of mutual care and support, and I greatly appreciate the efforts of students, teachers, staff and parents/guardians to respect all the people of our school in a manner that is aligned with the values of our school: faith, service, community, respect and academic excellence.

We are approaching the Thanksgiving Holiday and I want to be among the first to thank you for all that you do to make our community strong and vibrant. Every day our students put in the hard work to sharpen their minds, bodies and spirits. Our dedicated educators help our young women and men to discover the world through myriad topics of learning and just as many styles of instruction.

Together we are building a beautiful community of Lasallians where we educate and prepare students for lives of faith in God, excellence, integrity, leadership, respect and service to others.

As we move into the next phase of the school year, let us rejoice in the Holiday spirit, enjoy time with family and friends, take time to rest and relax, and always be mindful of our blessings.

Happy Thanksgiving. I look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday, November 28.

Sincerely,
