PICTURE DAY THANK YOU AND MORE HELP NEEDED

Thank you to all the volunteers who worked on Picture Day and Picture Day set up, 8/16-8/17, both inside and outside of the gym. We appreciate the time you took out of your day to help the students of PVPHS.

We still need more HELP!! We are short of volunteers for Late Picture Day on the first day of school, 8/25. The time is 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Please click on this link to sign up:  https://signup.com/go/bENauqs

We also need help the afternoon of 8/25 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 pm. If you would like to help, please email pvphsptsa@gmail.com with your name and contact information.

Textbook Pick-Up
Students needing to pick up textbooks can do so at the following times. Bring your ID/or ID number, your class schedule, and textbook form (extras will be available).

Monday, August 22 - 8:00am - 3:30pm
Wednesday, August 25 - 12:00pm - 3:30pm

Lockers

Students still needing to select a locker can do so at any time. Place a lock on any open locker and return the Locker Assignment Form. Please note the form requires parent's signature. Return the completed form to the Attendance Office.

Schedule Change Requests

Schedule Change Requests are no longer being accepted electronically. Students still needing to request changes should pick up a hard copy form in the Counseling Office starting Wednesday (8/21).

Some students have struggled to see their schedules online in Aeries or on the Aeries app. If you are looking at your schedule online and it doesn't look correct or is missing a class you know you have, you must deselect the box marked  "View Current Term". It will then allow you to see all of your classes. If you are using the Aeries app and having the same issue, you may have to toggle between the "Current Term" and "Future Term" to see your full schedule. This seems to be happening with semester courses more frequently.

If you are still unable to view your schedule, please contact the Aeries help desk through the district at help@pvpusd.net

COVID Safety Protocols and Procedures

Please read the following site reminders and updated information from our district.

  • Per District direction- effective immediately PVPHS will require masking at all times on campus with the exception of eating or drinking. Students will be allowed mask breaks if they are outside and more than 6 feet away from other individuals.
  • Before entering campus, all students must show they have completed the Covid screening by showing a "green screen" on their phone. An alternative option will be available for students without phones.

Hint: Save this website on your phone for easy access! Students from last year recommend doing the screener at home and taking a screenshot of the green screen with the correct date to show staff to avoid internet issues on campus.

Campus Entry Points

Students can enter campus and be screened at three entry points (yellow stars on map below) starting at 6:30 am:
  • The Main Gate
  • The Cafeteria Gate
  • The SMERT Gate (7:30 am - 8:05 am)
Protocols for Athletics and PE

  • All spectators at Athletic events must wear a mask, no matter if they are indoor or outdoor events
  • Athletes will need to wear masks at all times indoors and "as tolerated" outdoors
