ARE YOU 18 OR ALMOST 18?  YOU CAN REGISTER TO VOTE!

Voter turnout in California's 2015 general election among eligible 18 to 24 year olds was a dismal
8.2 %.  A person in this age group was more likely to get arrested in 2015 than to cast a ballot.  Let's turn these numbers around and get civically engaged.  As we celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, we honor all those who fought - some giving their lives - for the precious right to vote.  With candidates for President and the U.S. Senate on the ballot in 2016, election excitement will be high.  Let's encourage our young citizens to register to vote and turn out at the polls to ensure their voices are heard in 2016 and beyond.

Registering to vote is easy!  Click  HERE for more information.
