Printing Industry Credit Tips: The Turkey Who Tried to Trot

By Andrea Schlack, President PICB

Its Fall- the leaves are a kaleidoscope of color that float like feathers in the wind. The crisp air reminds us of the fun and seasonal smells, the warm ----------

WAIT- wrong Turkey!

This bird served in this tale of warning tried gobbling the Printers’ profits

Recently a Member asked PICB to help collect $60K from a Customer who flew the coop. His many requests for payment went unanswered so he decided to visit this foul feathered fowl but found no one home. Yes, this turkey pretended to be a proper business when in actuality he was an unregistered, unlicensed, assetless broker operating from his home using a nameless cell phone- he had no gravy.

Frustrated by being duped, the Printer sharpened his axe for slaughter but then realized there is more peril in mayhem than profit. Deciding it wiser to collect his money rather than to slaughter this bird he retained our professional collection staff to recover his money.

Immediate demand for payment was made advising this Bird that should he fail to make payment his personal feathers would be plucked while he was roasted in Civil Court, at his expense.

The Turkey paid and the Printer feasted thanks to PICB
