Inflatable Laser Tag is coming to the park and every tween and teen in the community is invited to join in. Find Ms. Brenda in the park to get on the waiting list for an immersive, high-energy laser tag experience unlike anything we have done before.
This is first come, first served, so arrive early to claim your spot before the game fills up.

-Can people form real emotional connections with AI assistants?
This workshop tackles those questions and more through live demonstrations, clear explanations of today's most powerful AI tools, and an interactive forecasting activity where participants share their own predictions about AI's future impact. Mother's Day is coming and we have the perfect way to celebrate!
Join us for a special printmaking workshop where children, teens, and adults can create one-of-a-kind prints to honor the special people in their lives. Using foam sheets and markers, participants will carve or draw their own designs, ink them up, and transfer the image onto paper or fabric to take home as a heartfelt, handmade gift. No experience necessary and no complicated setup required, just creativity and a little bit of fun. This technique is beginner-friendly and so enjoyable that many participants find it becomes a favorite activity to recreate at home long after the workshop is over.
Open to all ages, with children ages 6 and up welcome when accompanied by an adult. RSVP required.

Get ready to dance!
In celebration of AAPI Heritage Month, Kulture Kool, New Jersey's leading South Asian cultural arts organization, is bringing an Indian Folk and Bollywood Dance Workshop to Hoboken Public Library as part of Family FUNday, sponsored by the Hoboken Public Library Friends & Foundation. The fun kicks off with a vibrant 15-minute live performance before participants are invited to join in for an interactive dance-along covering technique, style, and form rooted in both folk and contemporary Indian dance traditions. Fun, energetic, and welcoming to all ages and experience levels, this is the kind of afternoon the whole family will be talking about on the way home.
Open to ages 4 and up, no registration required, and no experience necessary. First come, first served.

Join us at the Hoboken Historical Museum for a discussion led by Lenny Luizzi, who brings a firsthand perspective on the making of the classic 1954 film On the Waterfront, sharing stories about the real-life longshoremen, local extras, and the lasting impact the production had on the city. From its gritty industrial backdrop to its permanent place in cinematic history, this conversation explores how Hoboken didn't just provide a setting for On the Waterfront, it helped shape the soul of the film.

Creative Corner changes things up every week, from cooking and LEGO building to art and beyond, so there is always something new to discover.
