PAROLED PET AUDRE

IS READY FOR HER FUREVER HOME!

MEET AUDRE

Audre is named after American writer, professor, philosopher, and civil rights activist Audre Lorde. Audre Lorde is a self-described “black, lesbian, feminist, socialist, mother, warrior, poet,” who “dedicated both her life and creative talent to confronting and addressing injustices of racism, sexism, classism, and homophobia."

Like her namesake, Audre is talented and full of spirit.

TRAINER'S TESTIMONY

"Audre is a sweet dog with a gentle spirit. She is often referred to as being a 'princess' or 'lady'. She loves to cuddle and spend calming time with people. When playing outside, her favorite activity is running. She loves to chase and be chased, by both dogs and people. She also enjoys playing tug and sniffing new and old smells. Audre can be a little shy when first meeting, but once she warms up, she loves people and mellow dogs. She's very easily won over with treats! Audre also loves being groomed and loves all the attention she gets. Inside she is very calm and quiet, but once she's outside, she loves to play, play, play!"
