Dear Friend of PAIR,

As the year comes to a close, thank you for being part of our pro bono community.

Big appreciation to many of you who have:

  • Taken on a full representation asylum case;

  • Prepared and filed asylum applications and work authorization applications for clients on a limited scope basis;

  • Supported our detention team with conducting intakes and giving Credible Fear Interview (CFI)/Reasonable Fear Interview (RFI) preps;

  • Assisted with interpretation and translation at different stages of a client's asylum case;

  • Bolstered cases by researching country conditions evidence, and/or being an expert;

  • Collaborated with me to refer and place full representation asylum cases with your peers;

  • Attended one of our ten trainings given over this past calendar year, facilitated by my colleagues who are truly some of the best in the field

May these last weeks of the year bring relative ease to us all—so we may be re-fortified for all that lies ahead in 2024, including this critical, collective work.

This all is simply not possible with you—thank you for your support of PAIR and our clients this past year!

Melanie
