Dear Friend of PAIR,

Happy fall! We continue to recruit pro bono attorneys to take on full representation asylum cases, as the new season is underway. In addition to step-by-step mentorship with a PAIR attorney, we are also facilitating a weekly pro bono training series in October so new pro bono attorneys can tune in live with other practitioners.

Taking on an asylum case in conjunction with this training series will undoubtedly make an enormous difference in a client's life—as well as count towards your pro bono hours.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to hit reply and ask.

We look forward to having you join us in October!

Pro Bono Needed for

Detained Client's Bond Hearing

PAIR's Detention Program is actively recruiting pro bono attorneys to handle bond and parole requests for immigrant detainees. This is a limited scope matter.

The following bond hearing is in need of pro bono representation:

  • DPG is a young man who came to the U.S. fleeing violence in Guatemala. He has lived peacefully in the U.S. for several years, until he was stopped by border patrol and detained by ICE while driving near the Canadian border. He is currently detained at the Plymouth County Correctional Facility. He has no criminal history and hopes to reunite with his sister outside of detention.

PAIR will provide close case mentoring and training on these detained matters.

If you are interested or have questions, please email PAIR's Detention Manager, Irene Freidel, ifreidel@pairproject.org.
