Mark your Calendars: Holiday Events with GCRTL!

Celebrate the birth of Christ and stand for life during the Holiday season with your pro-life faithful family! We're excited to share the details of our two upcoming holiday events and hope you can join us for both.

First, stop by our office on Giving Tuesday, December 2nd, between 4PM and 7pM for our Christmas Open House. Enjoy festive fellowship and cookie decorating. We encourage you to bring a small gift for a mom in need - diapers, wipes, baby clothes, etc. or a pair of baby booties, shoes, or socks to help us grow our Memorial of the Unborn presentation! You'll also have the chance to write a card for a mom in need.

Second, join us to be a witness for Christ and the Community this Christmas by joining us for our annual event: Carols at the Clinic on December 13th at 10:00AM on the sidewalk outside of the Planned Parenthood Surgical Clinic.

We can't wait to see and celebrate with you!

3 More Turnaways During 40DFL!

Three more turnaways were recently reported that happened during our Fall 40DFL campaign!

"Early in the morning, a car pulled up for an opening appointment. The couple sat in the car for some time and we tried to talk to them. They ended up leaving without ever going in! Praise God! Two other mothers stopped to take information on resources too."

"Three men and a woman pulled into PP (Planned Parenthood). The father said, “We want an abortion.” He talked for a while. I told them to go to the WCC (Women’s Care Clinic). They ended up not going into PP, and she went in to the WCC. The father also took literature. She was still at the WCC when I left."

"A woman went into PP for a short time and came out. As she was pulling out she talked to me. She was crying and saying that she asked God for them not to take her back if she was supposed to have her baby. The staff said for reason that they couldn't see her. She took it as a sign to keep her baby! She decided to go to the WCC! Praise God!"

These stories grant us so much hope and should inspire each of us to invest more deeply, however possible, in Sidewalk Ministry.

We were delighted to host an advocacy training this past weekend! 5 participants joined us to learn the ins and outs of state law, abortion procedures, and pregnancy center help + why we believe that love always wins and how to offer compassionate help to abortion-minded mothers.

Policy Pulse

From the Statehouse to Your House

Last week, the horrifying news that a Toledo-area physician forced his girlfriend to take the abortion pill by crushing it and forcing it into her mouth while she was sleeping shook the country. This disturbing news came to light because he lost his medical license over the situation. Charges are being considered by the Lucas County prosecutor.

The story made headlines as the ACLU announced it was suing the FDA for its review of prescribing safeguards related to the abortion pill and right around the time that the FDA approved a generic version of the abortion pill.

Nationally and Statewide, the abortion pill accounted to a little over half of the total abortions committed in 2024. In Central Ohio, the abortion pill comprises nearly 3 out of every four known abortions. Two out of every three abortions reported last month in Franklin County were via the abortion pill.

Each year, Greater Columbus Right to Life distributes thousands of pieces of educational information and drop cards connecting the community to information about the abortion pill and abortion pill reversal. If you would like to get more training or information on the abortion pill or abortion pill reversal, let us know by responding to this email or reaching out to our advocacy training page.
