Major Update from Beth
If you have not yet heard, we have some exciting changes here at GCRTL. I share a little more in our Spring Newsletter, but we are undergoing a reorganization here at Greater Columbus Right to Life. As part of that reorganization, I will be transitioning into the role of President and we will be hiring a new executive director. Take peek at our job posting, and share it with any great candidates you might think of!
The immediate question you might have is, "What does this mean," and to be honest, for most people you will not see any big changes. Our Board has tasked me with focusing my time and energy on strategy, public policy, external relations, and mentoring/training a new ED who will take on some of the day to day tasks. At the same time, it will allow me a little more flexibility to pursue some projects that I'm really passionate about. By stepping back from full time employment with GCRTL, it will also allow us to grow in a way that is exciting for the organization while also being fiscally responsible - we take stewardship very seriously here!
Since 2013, it's been an honor and privilege to do this work, and I've seen so much growth in that time - personally, for the org, and in our community. To be clear, I'm not planning to leave Greater Columbus Right to Life, just serve in a different way while mentoring and investing in our next generation of leaders.
I am asking for help in three ways: 1) help us identify someone who would make a great ED, 2) give me a little grace as we work through these internal transitions, and 3) continue praying for me and everyone who works in this field. I would not be here today if it were not for your friendship and prayers!
If you have any questions or concerns, let's talk! - Beth

Spiritual Adoption Program
In the wake of the passage of Issue 1, we have heard from many that they are looking for what to do. Certainly, we are always looking for volunteers and sidewalk counselors and those who can support us financially. But once again, we are reminded that we need both prayer and action.
With that in mind, we've launched a spiritual adoption program here at GCRTL, starting March 25th (although in many churches celebrated on April 8th this year due to the timing of Holy Week) through nine months to Christmas, we are inviting you to join us in praying for an unborn baby who is at risk of abortion.
We have printed cards that you can carry or keep as a reminder to join us in this prayer, and periodically we will send updates on your baby's growth.

There are three different versions of the prayer card available. One is suitable for any audience, one is Archbishop Fulton's Sheen's prayer with an image of the Holy Family, and one is a Spanish version with Our Lady of Guadalupe. We have a limited number of prayer cards available in our office by request, or we can help you by customizing a bulk print order if requested. Give us a call or email Cinda with card requests.
40 Days for Life Spring Campaign
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Spring 40 Days for Life Campaign! We had reports of 4 turn-aways during the last two months, which by our count puts us over 700 since we started counting in 2013.
While we have numerous volunteers out in addition to our regular sidewalk team, we'd like to share a special thank-you to those churches that have adopted a full, partial, or recurring 40 Days time. They include: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, St. Cecilia, St. Paul, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Holy Family, St. Matthew, St. Mary Marion, St. Peter, St. Joan of Arc, St. Catharine, St. Patrick, St. Andrew, and the KOC Council 16561.

We are anticipating that the Fall Campaign Sept 25-Nov 3rd. Help us get to our goal of 20 churches participating, including 5 Protestant churches!
Meet Steventhen Holland...
Steventhen Holland is an author, recording artist, passionate worship leader, motivational speaker, and founder of Broken Not Dead Ministries.
He currently lives in Alabama with his wife Rachel and their beautiful daughters: Isabella, Eliana, and Kadence. He has written, recorded, and released over 20 songs to date.
His life is the result of the gang-rape of an eighteen-year-old mentally challenged young woman. Incredibly, despite his mother’s lack of intellectual ability, homelessness, and a society that was constantly pressuring her to abort him, he survived. However, his mother couldn’t care for him and placed him in foster care, where he was later adopted. He wouldn’t be reunited with his birth mother for 27 years.
Steventhen travels the country, sharing his message of HOPE and RESTORATION for the BROKEN built on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Note: We are using a new registration program this year: FundEasy. Fundeasy makes it easier to host a group or a table and add (or subtract) guests as you go. Table hosts will get a custom link to send invited guests to register themselves to sit with you (with tables of 10). If you have any questions or need help, give us a call and we'll walk you through it!
