CERTIFICATE PRO TIPS!
Certificates can be confusing, but we're here to help with some pro tips and tricks to get your certificates sent out quickly and correctly!

  1. Check your dates. Whether submitting a request for an event/venue already in our system or creating a new event/venue, be sure to carefully check the dates before clicking the "Submit" button.
  2. Adding in a note to the special notes section can delay your request from being autogenerated (sent out immediately as you click the "Submit" button). Only enter a note here if you need to pass something along to the SIA staff regarding the certificate information. Please do not request rush service in this field. Instead, send us an email!
  3. Know the difference between N/A, includes setup and tear down, and ongoing for policy period (above the event date(s) fields).
  • N/A: You only need your certificate for the date(s) listed on your request.
  • Includes setup and tear down: You need your certificate valid one day before/after the dates entered on your request to do setup or tear down.
  • Ongoing for policy period: You need the certificate valid from the printed date until the last day of your policy. This is a great option if you will be going to the same event/venue multiple times!
