Character Development

In recent months, participants in the Manhood Development program enjoyed the chance to take part in some exceptional and informative excursions. They explored the Lone Star Flight Museum, where they discovered aviation's fascinating history, understood the principles of aerodynamics, and had hands-on experiences with historical planes.

Additionally, the students had the thrilling opportunity to experience a flight simulator during their visit to the Lone Star Flight Museum. Utilizing a state-of-the-art MX2 simulator, they were treated to a high-quality, full-motion training experience. With its innovative 3-axis electric motion platform and wrap-around visuals, the simulator provided a realistic training environment where the participants could learn about aircraft operations and the intricacies of flight, experiencing the sensations of yaw, pitch, and roll firsthand. This experience not only ignited their interest in aviation but also offered them a taste of what it feels like to be a pilot, further enhancing their educational journey.

Moreover, the members attended an impactful visit to the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum. This visit was invaluable in learning about the significant contributions and heritage of these distinguished soldiers. The group engaged with the Buffalo Soldiers' narratives and gained insight into their critical role in the nation's past, as well as the obstacles they faced. The journey encouraged a greater respect for their bravery and achievements, emphasizing the value of tenacity and determination when confronted with challenges.

The Character Development participants also had a captivating and educational outing to the Museum of Natural Science recently. They were immersed in various exhibits, participated in interactive presentments, and deepened their understanding of the marvels of science and the natural world.

These educational outings exemplify the myriad ways our program offers distinctive and expansive learning experiences that enrich our members' perspectives and encourage them on their journey towards reaching their utmost capabilities.

Scholastic Book Fair

Pro-Vision, Inc. proudly partnered with The Pro-Vision Academy to host a Scholastic Book Fair for the 6-8th graders in May and gave away over 200 books as part of their summer reading material. By providing these books, we aim to encourage students to continue their academic journey and explore new worlds through reading over the summer break. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our dedicated Character Development Alumni members who generously volunteered their time and effort to make this event a resounding success.
