Celebrating 25 Years

by Dave Rauch

Earlier this month, Brad Wright celebrated an incredible milestone: 25 years with ProTec!

Twenty-five years is quite an accomplishment. During that time, Brad has worn many hats, worked alongside countless teammates, and seen ProTec grow and evolve in ways most of us can only imagine. Along the way, he's built many stories and memories.

We had the opportunity to celebrate Brad and hear a few of those stories while reflecting on everything he's been a part of over the years.

Brad, thank you for the dedication, loyalty, and service you've given to ProTec, our clients, and your fellow ProTecians. We are incredibly grateful for your contributions and all you've done to help make ProTec what it is today.

Happy 25th work anniversary, Brad. What an amazing accomplishment!

BUSINESS NEWS

New Release: Built to Last

by Dave Rauch

Next week, I’m heading to Florida for the Annual CAI Legal Symposium, where I’ll have the opportunity to speak on a panel about some of the biggest challenges facing community associations today.

One of the things I’m most excited about is the release of a new report called Built to Last: New Research on the Economic Life of Community Associations. I had the opportunity to help put this report together, and it takes a closer look at issues like aging infrastructure, rising insurance costs, reserve funding challenges, and the changing market conditions impacting communities across the country.

It’s exciting to see ProTec helping lead these conversations and contribute to solutions that can make a real difference for community managers, boards, and homeowners. Every one of you plays a part in that through the work you do each day, and that's something to be proud of.

Safety First

by Tim Lampman

Last week we celebrated hitting 30 days safe and raffled off 20 $100 net checks. Congratulations again to all of our winners!

Unfortunately, we've already reset the count twice since then. The good news is you've already proven that we can get to 30 days. Now let's see how far beyond that we can go.

Remember, there's a bigger reason behind these raffles. The safer we are, the better our insurance costs stay. We'd much rather spend money rewarding our employees than paying higher insurance premiums. That's a win for everyone.

Getting there takes all of us. We know accidents can happen, but many incidents can be prevented by wearing the proper PPE, staying aware of your surroundings, and taking the time to do the job safely.

And one last reminder: report incidents right away. Even if something seems minor, let your supervisor know. When in doubt, report. A quick conversation today can prevent a much bigger problem tomorrow.

Let's get back on track and start building that safe day count again.

Congratulations to our winners from our 30 day safe raffle:

  1. Luis Gutierrez (10)
  2. Angelica Lizarraga (30)
  3. Gabriela Paez Cardenas (30)

Internal Website

by Danyelle Reese

As we continue to welcome new faces to the team, I wanted to remind everyone about our Employee Portal.

You can access it at protec.com/internal or by visiting protec.com and clicking "Employee Portal" in the top right corner. (password: protec)

The Employee Portal is packed with useful information. You can find all the newsletters, company announcements, photos, employee contact information, safety forms, mileage reimbursement forms, sick and vacation request forms, and much more. You can even browse Core Value stories and the Best of ProTec to see all the great things your fellow ProTecians have been recognized for.

If you haven't checked it out recently, take a few minutes and look around. There's a good chance you'll find something helpful.

Welcome back, Janet!

by Dave Rauch

It’s been 2 years since Janet first worked with us, and we’re excited to have her back on the team. She previously worked alongside Karen in our Accounts Payable department, and I know Karen is especially happy to have her back too.

Janet will be splitting her time between accounting and the sales team, and I know she’s going to do an amazing job in both roles. We’re thankful to have someone who fits so well with the culture here at ProTec.

Glad to have you back, Janet!

If you need to contact her for anything, you can reach her at 619-818-8373 or JVasquez@protec.com. And don’t be surprised if you get a call or email from her asking for receipts!

INSIGHTS & INSPIRATION

Dave's Success Tips: Invest in yourself

by Dave Rauch

Tip #93: The best investment you will ever make is your steady increase of knowledge. Invest in yourself. Thirty minutes of study per day eventually makes you an expert in any subject - but only if you apply that knowledge. Study alone is no substitute for experience. Education is always painfully slow.

CONGRATULATIONS

Welcome New ProTecians

I hope EVERYONE will welcome, cherish, and help our new hires, our new family members, adjust and be happy with their new life here at ProTec! BE SAFE!
