July's Best of ProTec

by Dave Rauch

This month’s Best of ProTec goes to Fern Galindo from our IT Department!

A fellow ProTecian summed it up perfectly (and echoed what many others have said):

“He is the kind of person who’s always ready to help. His positive attitude and willingness to help others make him a valuable part of the team. No matter what the request is, he is always there to lend a hand. Everyone agrees that he’s amazing, always helpful and approachable.”

If you’ve ever called IT or submitted a ticket and spoken with Fern, you know every word of that is true. He’s quick to respond, polite, and genuinely happy to help. Whether it’s a simple fix or a deep-dive into a tricky issue, Fern always shows up ready to solve the problem.

Without Fern’s support behind the scenes, keeping all our systems running smoothly, answering questions, and solving problems quickly, our work would be much more difficult.

Thank you, Fern! We appreciate you more than you know!

BUSINESS NEWS

The Maintenance Manager: Tom Skiba

by Dave Rauch

Yesterday, we shared our monthly newsletter with our clients - The Maintenance Manager, and we wanted to make sure you saw it too!

This month, I had the chance to sit down with Tom Skiba, the former CEO of the Community Associations Institute (CAI). He opened up about his journey in the HOA industry, how CAI has evolved, especially internationally, and how the organization responded to major events like the Champlain Towers South tragedy. With over 20 years of leadership, Tom offers a powerful look at where the industry has been and where it’s headed. It’s a great listen if you want to learn more about the world we work in every day. Let me know what you think!

As many of you are on the go, you may prefer to listen on Spotify. Link Below.

Tip #72: Always have options. Options are a primary source of power. Power also comes from stripping away appearances and seeing things as they really are.
