Improving Quality of Life for 1,000,000 Homeowners

by Danyelle Reese

This week, ProTec has unveiled our updated evolved BHAG (Big, Hairy, Audacious Goal). We are transitioning from our previous BHAG 30x30 (30 offices by 2030) to a new goal that signifies a shift in our approach. Rather than merely expanding, we are now focused on making a tangible impact on people's lives, a goal that every one of us can contribute to daily.

Our emphasis is on enhancing homeowners' quality of life, not just increasing the number of offices. Unlike 30x30, this evolved BHAG encompasses every team member, every day. It empowers each of us to play a role in improving the lives of a 1,000,000 homeowners. Your contribution matters, regardless of your department or position. Evolution is essential for growth, and successful organizations embrace change and adapt. We have adopted a growth mindset, always ready for new challenges and opportunities. This evolution highlights our capacity to learn and develop from our experiences.

During the new rollout, you should have received a clipboard with the updated logo. If you didn't receive one, please email dreese@gmail.com, and we'll make sure one gets to you. We're so excited to grow together!

Congratulations to Daniela Cruz (12), this month's "Best of ProTec" winner! Daniela hit the ground running ever since she joined the business development team. Her background as a former community manager provides her with a unique perspective that she uses to drive ProTec forward. "Safety" Hats off to You

by Tim Lampman

This month, we're celebrating Mario Sanchez (160) with a safety jacket for his remarkable act of heroism. Just like a superhero, Mario demonstrated exceptional safety awareness when he observed a former employee operating a circular saw unsafely due to a misrepresentation of skills. Mario promptly donned his metaphorical cape, intervened, and stopped the employee from using the tool. He informed his supervisor and arranged for a more suitable job assignment, much like a superhero saving the day. Mario's proactive approach prevented a potentially serious injury, emphasizing the importance of safety in our workplace. Thanks, Mario, for your vigilance and commitment to keeping our team safe.

Not all Heroes Wear Capes

by Danyelle Reese

Like superheroes, one of our vital missions is ensuring safety. Just as superheroes safeguard their cities and the world, we, too, can be heroes in our workplaces. By following safety procedures, watching over our colleagues, and prioritizing well-being, we become everyday heroes. Whether it's donning safety gear, exercising caution, or speaking up when needed, our collective efforts enhance workplace safety. So, at work, remember you're not just an employee; you're a workplace hero dedicated to everyone's well-being.

Dave's Success Tips: Always Show Gratitude

by Dave Rauch

Tip #5: Always show gratitude when earned, monetarily when possible.

Embracing Wisdom Through Words

by Danyelle Reese

One of our core values, "Own It," goes hand in hand with these four practical expressions that can boost your wisdom, benefitting both your professional and personal life:

  1. "I was wrong": Demonstrating wisdom by admitting errors, even in challenging circumstances.
  2. "I made a mistake": Taking ownership of your actions, acknowledging personal responsibility.
  3. "I'm sorry": Elevating your response from recognition to action, by making amends.
  4. "I need help": Acknowledging the importance of support and the power of collaboration.

It takes wisdom to embrace vulnerabilities, recognizing that within lies strength.
