Safety First
by Tim Lampman
We’ve been doing a fantastic job with safety, and we’re getting closer to reaching our first milestone - 30 days without a lost time accident, injury, or late report. Let’s keep the momentum going! Once we hit that goal, we’ll be raffling off $100 net checks to 20 lucky ProTecians.
As 2025 keeps flying by and the temperatures continue to rise, it’s more important than ever to stay hydrated. Our work is often physically demanding, especially in hot or humid conditions, so proper hydration is essential. It helps prevent heat-related illnesses, boosts performance, and reduces the risk of accidents.
Here’s a quick hydration guide:
- Drink 16–24 oz of water before work begins
- Aim for 7–10 oz every 15–20 minutes while on the job
- Keep hydrating after your shift with water or electrolyte drinks
- And remember, don’t wait until you’re thirsty. If you’re thirsty, you’re already dehydrated.
Thanks for everything you do. Let’s stay SAFE, stay HYDRATED, and keep watching out for ourselves and each other as we push toward 30 days safe!
