Yes, we still have a lot of work to do, but it is great to take some time to see all the great things we were able to achieve this year - because of YOUR hard work!

As 2023 comes to a close, I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. This year has been extraordinary, marked by incredible growth and achievements that would not have been possible without your hard work. Whether you've been a part of the ProTec family for years or joined us this past year, thank you for contributing to our evolved BHAG: Improving Quality of Life for one million homeowners.


I urge you to take a moment to reflect on your personal and professional growth over the past year. Your hard work and commitment have played a pivotal role in our success. As we step into the new year, anticipate even more opportunities for learning and development. The best is yet to come for ProTec.

2024 Critical Number: YEAR OF THE CLIENT: Xperience Xcellence

In 2024, our #1 PRIORITY is enhancing the client experience and delivering exceptional value. This shift is crucial because we've observed a decline in our NPS scores (client surveys) over the past year. On the flip side, we've made significant progress in improving the employee experience, reflected in our impressive eNPS scores (employee survey) throughout the year.

To achieve our goal of improving the client experience, effective and timely communication is key. It all starts with us, particularly our internal communication. We've created an explainer slide deck to outline this year's Critical Number and how everyone can contribute to its success. Additionally, and the most exciting part, we highlight our celebration plans once we achieve our goals.


Think of our success like a manufacturing process; the entire chain is only as fast as its slowest part. Similarly, our improved client experience begins as soon as a request is made, through scheduling, completion, and continuous communication. Timely and effective communication is CRITICAL throughout! Please review the deck and reach out with any questions. We'll provide more updates on this Critical Number in the New Year.

Reminder: W-2 Update

W-2 forms will be sent to the address on file in Paylocity for those who opted for a physical copy. We strongly encourage all employees to verify and update their current address in Paylocity for accurate delivery.


We also encourage employees to consider the paperless option for quicker access to tax documents. To make the switch, follow these steps in Paylocity:


  1. Visit the Self-Service Portal.
  2. Click on "Go Paperless."
  3. Turn on the analog for W2/1099 and 1095C.

Nonstop Health: New Year, New Updates

As we enter the new year, it's crucial to be aware of important updates regarding Nonstop Health, our co-insurance company responsible for covering all out-of-pocket costs beyond premiums. When working with Nonstop Health, please keep the following in mind:


  • Submit 2023 claims by March 31, 2024: To prevent denial, ensure all 2023 service or prescription claims are submitted to Nonstop by March 31, 2024.
  • Settle unpaid 2023 bills with Nonstop Visa Card by December 31, 2023.
  • Opt for claims process for January/February bills: If you receive a bill in January/February for 2023 services, choose our claims process instead of using the Nonstop Visa card.
  • Avoid Nonstop Visa Card usage for 2023 expenses after January 1, 2024.

Clothing Drive

We're starting the new year by giving back! Join us in a clothing drive with Sharias Closet. Keep an eye out for donation boxes in your office, where you can drop off men's, women's, and children's clothing. They are especially in need of men's clothing right now. They collect, clean, and distribute donations to families in need. You have until January 31 to declutter your closet and contribute. A big thank you to Anthony Macpherson (535), who found this organization and volunteered to pick up and deliver all donations to this wonderful organization.
