Wishing you a Happy Easter

by Dave Rauch

As we head into the Easter weekend, I want to thank each of you for your continued hard work and dedication.

Whether or not you celebrate Easter, this time of year carries a powerful message: the idea that after seasons of struggle, loss, or uncertainty, renewal and rebirth is possible. Easter, at its core, is about hope, grace, and the promise of new beginnings — a reminder that light always follows darkness.

I hope this weekend gives you a chance to pause, reflect, and spend quality time with the people who matter most to you. However you spend it, I wish you a safe, joyful, and meaningful Easter. BE SAFE!

BUSINESS NEWS

KEEP OUR CAMPS

by Dave Rauch

Our CAMPs are the core of what makes us successful. They are the lifeblood of our business, and just like any important asset, they need to be nurtured, cared for, and guided to success. When we lose a CAMP, it’s a loss for the entire team, but we must recognize why it happens and make proactive changes to prevent it.

Why Have We Lost CAMPs? There are two main reasons why we've lost CAMPs in the past, and it’s essential we address both to prevent this from continuing:

1. Self-inflicted Losses

2. Service Failures

We will jump into these more in our next newsletter and discuss what YOU can do to help! In the meantime, I will be searching to discover the core reason(s) for the loss of each CAMP!

Your Feedback is Very Important to ProTec

by Dave Rauch

I want to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to complete last week’s employee survey. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we truly appreciate your honesty. Some of the responses were tough to read — because the truth can be hard to hear. But that truth is necessary, and it shows us that there are still important improvements to be made at ProTec.

As the saying goes, Rome wasn’t built in a day — meaningful change takes time, and your input is a key part of that process. That said, some of the feedback was difficult to act on due to a lack of clarity or specificity. While all feedback is welcome, we’re best able to make real changes when comments include actionable suggestions and clear descriptions of the issues. General concerns, while valid, are harder to address in a company of our size without more context. Please know that your voices are being heard. Nothing you shared is being ignored — but in order to respond effectively, we need as much detail as possible.

Overall, the results of the survey were very positive and encouraging. Each department manager or lead will be receiving their team’s scores shortly. We are committed to making ProTec a great place to work, and your continued input is essential to that mission. Thank you again for your time, your honesty, and your commitment to helping us improve. Please remember to BE SAFE!

Safety First

by Tim Lampman

As we head into the Easter weekend, I’m pleased to share that we continue to make progress in reducing accidents and incidents since the beginning of the year. That said, we have had a few incidents this past Tuesday involving injuries and health concerns—fortunately, none were serious.

Interestingly, while many assume Mondays and Fridays are the most accident-prone days, at ProTec, Tuesdays have seen the highest number of injuries. That’s why we emphasize Tuesday safety messages—please make a point to read them and stay alert.

Safety is our top priority every single day, and we all play a role in keeping ourselves and each other safe. Let’s continue to stay focused and proactive, especially on Tuesdays, and work together to bring those numbers down.

Wishing you all a joyful and safe Easter holiday with your loved ones. BE SAFE!

Ah, tax season—the most magical time of the year (said no one ever). It’s the ultimate test of patience and paperwork. Hopefully, everyone made it through and can finally relax… at least until next year!
