With support from Caleb Henry, our Marketing Manager, I had the opportunity to present at the CAI National Conference. Our session was titled “How Maintenance Breaks the Chains of Legal, Lending, and Insurance Mandates.” We’ll be sharing the audio and slides in the next newsletter—stay tuned!

While we were there, we also interviewed two big names in the CAI world: Tom Skiba, CEO of CAI, and Jeevan D’Mello, head of Zenesis and the key force behind expanding CAI internationally into more than 22 countries, including his home country of Dubai.

And thanks to Caleb’s persistence, we’ve reached a verbal agreement with two companies to integrate our Maintenance Manual into Reserve Studies through custom software. More on that soon!

Beat the 5th Hour!

Just a reminder to please make sure you clock out for your lunch break before reaching your 5th hour of work. Taking your break on time helps us all stay in compliance and keeps your day running smoothly!

Safety First

It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through May. As we move into the latter half of spring, it’s time to start preparing for summer. This means staying hydrated and taking steps to protect ourselves from the sun—wear sunscreen and sun hats as needed.

This time of year also brings increased insect and animal activity. We’ll cover this more in this month’s safety meetings, but the key point is: don’t try to handle pests or snakes on your own. If you see a beehive or rattlesnake on a property, notify the property manager so they can bring in a professional to handle it safely. Be sure to check your surroundings and clear any hazards before setting up your work area.

Thank you for all that you do. Please continue to stay safe and look out for yourselves and one another. Remember, safety has no quitting time.
