Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

This past Wednesday was Mexican Independence Day, and we’re also in the middle of Hispanic Heritage Month. It’s a meaningful time to recognize the history, sacrifice, strength, and pride behind these celebrations.

Mexican Independence Day is a celebration of freedom, fought for by people who believed future generations deserved the opportunity to determine their own future. That courage and perseverance are worth remembering.

Hispanic Heritage Month gives us a chance to honor those stories and the traditions that continue to be passed from one generation to the next. The food, music, language, celebrations, family values, and pride in where you come from are all part of a heritage that deserves to be celebrated.

To everyone who celebrated Mexican Independence Day, I hope it was a meaningful one. And to our Hispanic and Latino employees and families, Happy Hispanic Heritage Month. May we always remember the generations who came before us and never take our heritage or our freedom for granted.

An Ode to Summer

Summer officially ends next Tuesday, and before we say goodbye, I want to say thank you.

It was a hot and humid one, and I know many of you spent your days out in it, making repairs, tackling projects, responding to emergencies, and getting the Job Done. I don’t take that hard work for granted.

Cooler days are coming, and football is already here, so at least we’ve got that going for us.

Thank you for another summer of hard work. I’m proud of this team and grateful for every one of you.

Here’s to football, cooler weather, and another summer in the books.

See an Opportunity? Refer a CAMP. Get Paid!

From now through the end of the year, EVERYONE at ProTec can earn money for referring a CAMP that gets sold. And yes, that includes our technicians!

Our technicians and field teams are on properties every day. You see the things others might not. Maybe you notice a community that could use more consistent maintenance, a property that needs help staying ahead of repairs, or a client who could benefit from a more proactive approach. That could be a CAMP opportunity!

Here’s what you can earn:

Building, Facilities or Janitorial Maintenance CAMP

Refer a CAMP that gets sold and receive $200, paid 90 days after the contract start date.

NEW Preventive Maintenance CAMP

Refer a Preventive Maintenance CAMP that gets sold and receive $400, paid 90 days after the contract start date.

Keep your eyes open while you’re out in the field, talking with clients, visiting properties, or working in our communities. If you see an opportunity for a CAMP, pass it along!

You make the referral. We’ll take it from there. If it sells, you get paid!

Referral program runs through December 31, 2026.

Safety First

And I know you’ve heard it all before. Wear your PPE. Watch your surroundings. Don’t take shortcuts. Be smart.

But seriously, we don’t say it just because we enjoy talking about safety every week. We actually like you guys and want you to come back tomorrow.

So before you do something that makes you think, “Eh, it’ll probably be fine…” maybe give it another second.

Get the Job Done. Just don’t become the next safety meeting.
