Dreams Do Come True!
by Liz Teposte
Last month, Sergio Davalos' (660) dream of a full day offshore fishing trip for himself and his son was granted. Sergio shared some incredible pictures capturing the amazing time they had. It's these moments that make the program truly special – creating memories that will be cherished forever. Witnessing the joy on their faces brings us immense delight, as dreams are transformed into reality! There is no better feeling than helping fellow ProTecians realize their dreams - it's exactly what this program was designed to accomplish.
If you're interested in submitting a dream for yourself or someone else, please send an email to dreams@ProTec.com. We're here to bring those dreams to life and improve quality of life!

Building Loyal Clients
by Caleb Henry
Building a client for life hinges on more than just fulfilling transactions; it's a commitment to exceeding expectations, upholding integrity, and safeguarding their best interests and excellent communication. When you consistently go above and beyond, taking the extra step to do the right thing even when it's not the easiest path, you establish a foundation of trust that becomes unbreakable. This trust is the bedrock of loyalty and client loyalty is gold. Consider the strongest relationships in your life – at their core, there's an unwavering trust that these individuals have your best interests at heart and will support you through thick and thin. By mirroring this approach in business, we create a bond with our clients that transcends mere transactions. It's an investment in mutual respect and reliability. The value of loyalty and trust can't be quantified in dollars. That's why when we deliver on our Brand Promise (Job Done) and execute our Purpose (Improving Quality of Life), they won't feel the need to seek out a competitor. In the end, it's not about a price tag or a new marketing gimmick, but rather about fostering a strong relationship built on authenticity, reliability, and getting the job done! And, the best way to build trust is to communicate effectively, like your life depended on it.

Gas Card Skimmers
by Caleb Henry
Gas pump card skimmers are a widespread threat and we've had a couple of instances recently where this has happened on a few of our gas cards. To safeguard against these devices that steal credit card information, vigilance is key. Skimmers come in various forms, including hidden cameras, fake keypads, and even "card shimming" devices that clone magnetic stripes. Detection methods include checking for tampering on the pump panel, inspecting card slots and PIN pads for anomalies, watching out for hidden cameras, and avoiding PIN entry when possible. Choosing pumps closer to the station and using skimmer detection apps like "Skimmer Locator" can also help. Despite chip-based cards being safer, scammers have evolved to use card shimming techniques that are harder to detect. EMV protection offers some security against shimming. Ultimately, staying vigilant, monitoring accounts, and adopting secure banking practices remain crucial in thwarting these threats.
