BUSINESS NEWS

ProBowl Update

by Dave Rauch

We’re one month into the game, and both teams have been driving up and down the field! Our Mouse Team is racking up yards daily with safety photos and inspection cards coming in strong. The Chicken Team doesn’t get quite as many plays per day since their score reflects billable hours, team size, and new contracts, which don’t shift as fast as our safety points.

So here’s our game plan: let’s focus on staying safe and giving shoutouts to teammates making winning plays out there. And remember, any Workers' Comp claim knocks the Mouse Team all the way back to the starting line (as it did today). Let’s stay sharp and keep pushing forward! 🏈🐭

Open Enrollment!

by Jose Cortez

  1. Passive Enrollment: This year’s Open Enrollment is passive, meaning employees do not need to take any action if they wish to keep their current benefits for themselves and their dependents. All changes made will be effective starting January 1, 2025.
  2. Enrollment Period: Open Enrollment will run from November 12th through November 26th.
  3. Changes for 2025:
  • HealthNet Medical Plans: There will be a premium increase across all HealthNet medical plans. More details will be shared once final rates are confirmed.
  • Dental Plan: We are transitioning from Cigna Dental PPO to HealthNet Dental PPO, with adjustments in premiums for this new plan.
  • Medical Expense Reimbursement: We are moving from the NonStop reimbursement plan to the DifferenceCard, which will continue to cover eligible medical expenses.

Stay tuned for further updates, and feel free to reach out to me at Jcortez@ProTec.com if you have any questions.

eNPS (employee Net Promotor Score) Results

by Cecilia Gonzalez

Our Q3 employee survey results are here, and we’re moving in the right direction! We boosted our eNPS score to 55, up 5 points from last quarter. Departments scoring the highest shared that they feel safe on the job and find our work processes easy to follow. For areas that scored below average, this points to opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance safety.

Safety is a top priority at ProTec, and we’ll be focusing on it by evaluating and updating training for departments on safety protocols and processes to make everyone’s job easier. Thank you to everyone who took the survey—your feedback is essential to making ProTec even better!

Please continue sharing ideas for improvement. Often, your insights highlight perspectives we may not otherwise see. As we grow, it’s important for all of us to take ownership in our areas and contribute to making ProTec a more efficient and effective workplace.

  • eNPS How likely would you be to tell others ProTec is a great place to work? – 55 (click here to understand eNPS scoring)
  • How would you rank the ease of use of our current work processes? – 7.71 (Company Average)
  • How would you rank the importance of safety at ProTec? – 8.84 (Company Average)

Daylight Savings - Fall Back

by Danyelle Reese

Don't forget to set your clocks back an hour on Sunday, Nov. 3rd as we "fall back" for daylight saving time. While you're at it, it's the perfect opportunity to check and replace the batteries in your fire alarms to ensure your home stays safe and protected. A small task now can make a big difference later!

Safety First

by Tim Lampman

We are increasing our site safety inspections and training. Please know that managers and supervisors can arrive at any time to do site safety inspections. Please make sure you have all required PPE and equipment on your job site to do your job safely.

Good practices can be rewarded and unsafe conditions on jobsites can result in disciplinary action. Also, we will be making changes to how we respond to emergencies during inclement weather. Be prepared to hear about these important updates soon.
