Why Our Critical Number Is So Important!

by Caleb Henry

As we continue to raise our prices, it is absolutely imperative that we also enhance our client experience and the value we provide. This is why this particular Critical Number holds such importance. To enhance our client experience, several key aspects must improve across the board, and they primarily fall under the category of communication. We must promptly inform our clients when we receive their requests or work orders, communicate when they can expect to receive their bids or when the work is scheduled, and, without question, notify them when the JOB IS DONE! Such consistent and clear communication plays an important role in establishing trust and reliability, both of which are critical to our future success.

Failure to excel in these areas could lead clients to prioritize cost over our services, seeking more affordable alternatives. The distinction between high-value and budget products invariably comes down to quality and customer service. To establish ourselves as industry leaders, we must prioritize customer service and delivering exceptional results. By doing so, we can anticipate an influx of work through client referrals, as they become advocates for our services.

Will we achieve perfection overnight, next month, or even next year? No, but we must remain resolute, disciplined, and committed to continuously elevating our level of service. Over time, these incremental improvements will accumulate, resulting in a transformative shift in how our services are perceived and valued by our clients.

CRITICAL NUMBER: Time to Pick up the Pace

by Dave Rauch

We've completed the first four weeks of our new critical number initiative. Our goal for this quarter is 200 submissions, and we're off to a slower start with 30 submissions so far. I'd like to highlight that submitting client feedback is now more convenient than ever. We've introduced a Client Feedback App on your company phones. For those without a company phone, business cards with a QR code will be distributed at your safety meeting for easy scanning. Keep the card in your wallet, car, or anywhere convenient. You can also save the link for later use: https://srvy.pro/27C3ZRF. QR codes are also displayed on all office TVs for quick scanning. Please, let's pick up the momentum and track our progress together!

CRITICAL NUMBER: Survey to Clients

by Caleb Henry

As we wrap up the first month of the year, it's time to kick off our client survey initiative for this year's critical number. Next week, we'll be sending out the first survey, acting as a temperature gauge to track our progress toward hitting our quarterly NPS score goal. The question for this month is: 'On a scale from 1-10, how would you rank our communication and follow-up?' Let's start the year on a positive note, aiming for the same progress with our clients that we achieved on the employee side last year! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me here: chenry@protec.com.

CULTURE CORNER

Last Chance to Give

by Danyelle Reese

Wednesday, January 31, marks the last day for donations for our clothing drive. It's not too late to contribute items —they're especially in great need of men's clothing. This organization will ensure everything is washed and donates them directly to families in need, with no profit involved. Huge thanks to everyone who has already donated; your collective effort is making a significant difference!

Dave's Success Tips: Swim Against the Stream

by Dave Rauch

Tip #17: Life operates in reverse action to entropy. Therefore the universe is hostile to life. Progress is a continued effort to swim against the stream.

Don't Be Afraid of Feedback

by Danyelle Reese

I recently came across an article on receiving feedback, relevant to this year's critical number on client feedback. It emphasizes that, while feedback may not always be easy to receive, it's crucial for our learning and growth. Negative feedback, though challenging, presents an opportunity for vulnerability and improvement—not just for our clients, but for ourselves. Keeping problems in the dark allows them to persist, but bringing them to light makes solving and improving much easier. As a team, embracing feedback is a way to stay accountable, with a shared goal. The key takeaway: "Don't shy away from getting feedback, formally or informally. Just make sure it's used constructively rather than destructively."
