Best of ProTec

by Dave Rauch

We’re thrilled to announce that one of our outstanding leaders, Mariano Porras (Dept. 60), has been chosen as August's Best of ProTec! Mariano has been working diligently on photo reports, and his clients have noticed the difference—many are expressing their appreciation of him and Dept. 60 as a whole. Thank you, Mariano, for your excellent communication with our clients, enhancing their quality of life, and making their experience with us hassle-free. Best of all, we all admire your success in identifying and coaching great new Account Managers. This recognition is very well-deserved!

New Core Value Rollout

At this month's safety meeting, we’re excited to roll out our new core value: SAFETY FIRST!

It's been a while since we’ve reached 30 consecutive safe days, and safety has always been a priority, so we decided to add it to our core values. We want every ProTecian to practice safe methods at work each day and return home safely to their families. Stay tuned for more details!

A little safety humor on Friday never hurt anyone....

Upcoming: Skechers Friends & Family Days

by Danyelle Reese

It’s that time again to share our company discount with friends and family for a limited time! With school starting up and fall just around the corner, it’s the perfect opportunity to grab shoes for the whole family. Remember, ProTec has a special year-round program with Skechers that gives you a 30% discount, and this extended sale for family and friends runs from September 5th-11th. Click here to check out all the details!

Reminder: Labor Day

by Cecilia Gonzalez

Labor Day is coming up on Monday, September 2nd (not this Monday but next). It's a paid holiday for salaried employees and an unpaid holiday for hourly employees. If you prefer to pay tribute to Labor Day by doing some labor - we aren't stopping you. Please make sure you are communicating that with your manager so they can get an accurate headcount.

Otherwise, enjoy the day off as summer winds down and we gear up for fall!

Keep up the Good Work!

by Danyelle Reese

A slight miscalculation on my part led to the wrong numbers reported in the last newsletter...oops! We are currently sitting at 104 submissions. (Remember our goal is 200) We have 4 weeks left in the quarter to pick up our slack! Let’s get on it and submit all that client or jobsite feedback we hear!

Reporting for Duty

by Candy Allen

Detective Rosie cracked the case on a potential scam! Someone tried to impersonate one of our employees to change direct deposit information, but Rosie’s keen eye caught an incorrect email, stopping the fraud in its tracks. Way to go, Rosie! Remember, scammers are lurking everywhere—stay sharp, double-check details, and when in doubt, pick up the phone and verify directly. It’s always better to be safe than sorry! 😊

Tis the Season to Give!

by Liz Teposte

It may not feel like it yet, but cooler weather is just around the corner! ProTec has a wonderful opportunity to help those in need. Last year, Daniel Correa (Dept. 535) inspired us with his dream to donate socks and gloves to children in need, and we’re excited to participate again for a second year! If you’d like to join in, please drop off your contributions in the labeled bins around the offices from now until early December. Daniel Correa will gather and deliver them. Let's spread warmth and kindness together!

ProTec Pinky Promise

by Candy Allen

Introducing the legendary ProTec Pinky Promise—a vow so sacred, it’s like signing a contract in the court of Karen! This isn’t just any promise; it’s a legally binding, no-nonsense, ironclad commitment. When you pinky promise Karen that you'll turn in your receipts, you'd better be ready to follow through, or you might just find yourself in the pinky promise protection program! Remember, in the world of ProTec, a pinky promise is as serious as it gets… so cross your heart, lock those pinkies, and don’t even think about breaking it! 😜 Click here to check out the pinky promise!

by Danyelle Reese

Thank you to everyone who sent in funny and clever captions for this photo. Congratulations to Melinda Cheng (Dept. 159) for coming up with the winning caption: "Here's the tall and short of it... ProTec is about improving your quality of life."

INSIGHTS & INSPIRATION

Dave's Success Tips: Put Forth the Effort

by Dave Rauch

Tip #44: An hour of effective, precise, hard, disciplined - and integrated thinking can be worth a month of hard work. Thinking is the very essence of, and the most difficult thing to do in business and in life. Empire builders spend hour-after-hour on mental work...while others party. If you're not consciously aware of putting forth the effort to exert self guided integrated thinking... if you don't act beyond your feelings and instead take the path of least resistance, then you give in to laziness, make bad decisions and no longer control your life.

The Power of Small Wins

  • The Psychology of Small Wins: Understanding why acknowledging minor victories can have a big impact on your mindset.
  • Building Momentum: How small successes can create a positive feedback loop that drives continuous progress.
  • Daily Reflection Practices: Simple habits for recognizing and appreciating your daily achievements.
  • Setting Achievable Milestones: Breaking down big goals into smaller, manageable tasks to maintain motivation.
  • The Role of Gratitude: How being thankful for small wins can improve your outlook and resilience.
  • Incorporating Rewards: Creative ways to reward yourself for making progress, no matter how small.
  • Creating a Success Journal: Documenting your wins to track progress and stay motivated.

CONGRATULATIONS
