January's Best of ProTec

by Dave Rauch

Our January Best of ProTec winner is more than deserving of the recognition. Congratulations to Ivy Gonzalez from our Business Development team!

Ivy started her journey with ProTec as an admin before transitioning to support the sales side, and she has been thriving ever since. She currently covers Los Angeles and is assisting Mike in Orange County, taking on new challenges, learning every step of the way, and consistently showing up with a positive, can-do attitude.

It’s not just our team who sees the impact she’s making. A client recently wrote in to give Ivy a special shout-out for always staying on top of emails and work orders, big or small. That level of responsiveness and follow-through is what truly makes a difference and helps improve the quality of life in the communities we serve.

Thank you, Ivy, for the hard work and dedication you bring every day. Congratulations, and keep up the great work!

BUSINESS NEWS

Welcome to the team Mike!
by Andy Henley

I’m really excited to share that Mike Mastropietro has joined ProTec as our Business Development Representative for Orange County.

He might be a new face around here, but he’s definitely not new to the industry. Mike brings nearly 40 years of experience and a real understanding of how communities operate, what boards and managers are up against, and what it truly takes to get the job done right.

He’s already jumped in and hit the ground running, and I can tell he’s going to be a strong asset for both our team and our clients.

Please join me in giving Mike a warm ProTec welcome. Mike, we’re so glad you’re here and excited to have you on this journey with us!

Preventative Maintenance: Setting HOAs up for success

by Dave Rauch

I had the chance to coauthor a short article with Kevin Davis and Susan McCintic, and I wanted to share it with you all.

Preventive maintenance is really about staying ahead of the small stuff before it turns into a big, expensive problem. It’s not just about saving money. It’s about keeping our communities solid, safe, and running the way they should.

In the article, we break down some simple, practical ways to get started and keep things on track. Take a few minutes to check it out. Please share it with all of our clients if you can.

Safety First

by Tim Lampman

I’m happy to announce that we’ve made major strides in our safety program. We navigated a wet week on the roadways with zero accidents or incidents, and as of today, we’ve reached 52 days safe without a lost time accident or injury.

This is an incredible accomplishment, and it’s because of each and every ProTecian doing their part. Thank you all for your continued focus and commitment to safety.

We have 8 days to go. We can do this. If we stay on pace and hit our 60-day safe mark, we’ll be raffling off $4,000. We haven’t been this close in a while, so this is exciting. Keep an eye out, we’ll be announcing how and when the raffle will take place if we reach our goal.

Let’s keep up the great work, continue looking out for ourselves and one another, and always remember the ultimate goal is to return home safely and in good health to the people who depend on you.

AWARDS & CELEBRATIONS

In case you missed it...

by Danyelle Reese

We had the chance to surprise Dave and celebrate ProTec's 30th Anniversary in a fun way, and he was such a good sport about it. He even recorded a quick video for us and you have to watch it. It’s pretty hilarious.

Thirty years is a huge milestone, and it says a lot about the kind of leadership we have. We’re lucky to have a boss who leads with strength and vision, but who’s also willing to jump in and have a little fun with the team.

And of course, a big shout out to Liz for executing everything behind the scenes and making the whole surprise come together. Great job!

Safety Meeting Trivia - Dept. 460

by Liz Teposte

This month I headed up to Los Angeles for safety meeting trivia. It was such a great time getting to connect with the team, have some fun, and share a few laughs together.

Congratulations to our winners Roberto Sanchez Cruz, Luis Valenzuela, and Raul Melendez. Nice work, guys!

Dave's Success Tips

by Dave Rauch

Tip #86: You get what you expect, not what you want. Fill your life with positive expectations. Demand the best. Attitude and desire contribute to 90% of your achievement. Anyone can learn the physical mechanics.

CONGRATULATIONS

I hope EVERYONE will welcome, cherish, and help our new hires, our new family members, adjust and be happy with their new life here at ProTec! BE SAFE!
