Leveling Up at ProTec

by Dave Rauch

Starting April 1st, we’re rolling out new software across the entire company. That means a new app and a new way of doing some of our day-to-day work. I know change like that can feel a little overwhelming at first, but it’s also a big step forward for us.

There will be a learning curve. But this change is all about making things easier in the long run cutting down extra steps, speeding things up, and helping all of us work more efficiently. And this technology will make our jobs more fun too.

At your safety meeting this month, you’ll get hands-on training covering everything you need to know to get through your day confidently. We’ll walk through clocking in and out, uploading receipts, adding photos, and managing scopes of work. It’s all designed to set you up for success.

Before your meeting, please download the Knowify app so you’re ready to jump right in. That way we can spend more time making sure everyone feels comfortable and confident with the system.

I’m really excited about what this means for ProTec. This is us leveling up. Faster turnaround time, quicker approvals, smoother invoicing, and less back-and-forth overall. It helps us internally, and it helps us take even better care of our clients. It’s a win all around.

And with any change like this, there’s a grace period. We know it won’t be perfect right away, and that’s okay. Mistakes are part of the process. Ask questions, lean on your team, and don’t be afraid to speak up. We’re all in this together. Let’s get after it.

BUSINESS NEWS

Safety First

by Tim Lampman

The heat is kicking in early, and with it comes more snake activity. We don’t usually see snakes this time of year, but it’s already being reported on the news, so stay sharp out there. Watch where you’re walking, be careful where you’re placing your hands, and take an extra second before reaching into areas you can’t clearly see.

Stay aware, stay hydrated, and keep looking out for yourselves and each other. The heat alone can wear you down, so take care of your body and don’t push past your limits.

We’ve got a great streak going right now, let’s keep it rolling and keep everyone safe every day.

Eyes on 90 Days

by Dave Rauch

We’ve made it to day 79. That’s a huge deal.

We’re just 11 days away from hitting our 90 day goal, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. What stands out to me the most is how you’re all looking out for each other, not just yourselves. That’s what makes a team like this special - we are a family!

If we finish out March with no lost time, we’re going to celebrate with another raffle. This time we’re giving away 20 net checks at $300 each.

It’s been a long time since we’ve hit a milestone like this, and I know we’ve got what it takes to get there. And honestly, I don’t want to stop at 90 days. Let’s keep this momentum going and see how far we can take it.

We’ll keep you posted as we get closer and share the raffle details soon. Plus, at the upcoming raffle we’ll talk about what happens if we make it to 120, 150 and 180 safe days – stay tuned. I’m proud of all of us coming together.

Today marks the first day of SPRING

by Danyelle Reese

Spring has sprung. Yes, spring is here, and honestly it already feels like summer outside.

We didn't get much of a true winter this year, so the shift into spring feels a little different. Still, there is something about longer days, more sunshine, and that extra bit of energy in the air that makes this time of year stand out.

It's a good reminder to get outside a little more, enjoy the weather, and take advantage of the longer evenings while we have them.

Here is to the start of spring. If this is how it is kicking off, summer should be a good one.

AWARDS & CELEBRATIONS

ProTec Spotlight: Juan Perez Jimenez

by Dave Rauch

We’ve got a lot of talented ProTecians, and every now and then it’s fun to spotlight what they do outside of work. One of our technicians from Dept. 60, Juan Perez Jimenez, shared this video he put together in his free time. He likes to get creative when he’s off the clock, and it shows. Great job, Juan! Click here to watch the short video.

ProTec Spotlight: Dept. 360

by Danyelle Reese

Dept. 360 came through for one of our biggest events of the year. We needed our tradeshow booth to match our 90s Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme, and they took a simple trash can and completely transformed it, tying in our services, locations, and core values. Some serious talent on that team. Thank you Armando, Cristian, Christy, Julie and the whole 360 TEAM.

If you have a hidden talent you want to share, send an email to Danyelle at DReese@protec.com so we can showcase you.

INSIGHTS & INSPIRATION

Dave's Success Tips: Lasting Happiness

by Dave Rauch

Tip #88: The source of lasting happiness can never come from outside yoursef through consuming values - but only from within yourself by creating values. Producing more than you consume is the only justification for existence.

CONGRATULATIONS

Welcome New ProTecians

I hope EVERYONE will welcome, cherish, and help our new hires, our new family members, adjust and be happy with their new life here at ProTec! BE SAFE!
