Process Flow for Bone Sample

One of the primary drivers of screen failures has been failure to culture bacteria from the biopsy samples. Fortunately, we have identified ways to improve this process. Decreasing time to get the biopsy to the lab is a key. We are working hard to implement methods to optimized time-to-lab. We need your help to overcome this issue. Please take a look at the diagram below that outlines the processing of the bone samples for both using your local microbiology lab or if you are using Eurofins Central Lab. Details of this procedure are contained in the Target Pathogen Plan. Please, let us know if you have suggestions.
