Processing to the Manger on Christmas Eve

At the Christmas Eve Mass at 6:00pm we will have a procession of children taking the baby Jesus to the manger.

All the children at Mass are invited to join the procession. If any children would like to bring flowers, that would be wonderful, so they can take flowers to Jesus. There will be vases near the crèche for those who need them.

We will assemble a few minutes before Mass begins and we will sing Away in a Manger as the children are processing.

This is a special time for making Christmas memories and it enforces the reality of Jesus coming in the manger. Parents are encouraged to invite the children to come to the crèche after Mass, spending a minute venerating the baby Jesus and saying a prayer (for their parents and siblings!).

Merry Christmas!
