Life in the Seminary

| Our newly accepted Diocesan seminarians have started their first-year at Mount Angel Seminary in Oregon! As they settle into the seminary, our seminarians look forward to their dorm room where they can rest, study, and pray at the end of the day. | | In the next couple of weeks, the rest of our seminarians will head back to their respective seminaries for the fall semester. Sr. Xochitl Regis made her Solemn Profession of Vows as a Missionary Carmelite of St. Therese of the Child Jesus on July 13th in Ostula, Michoacán, Mexico.
Sr. Regis attended Santa Cruz Mission, served by Holy Family Church, in Kingsburg.
Congratulations, Sr. Regis!

West Nile Virus Awareness
County of Fresno Department of Public Health
To reduce the risk of being bitten by mosquitoes and contracting West Nile Virus, Fresno County residents are urged to take the following precautions:
• Apply an EPA registered insect repellent
• Make sure that doors and windows have tight-fitting screens to keep out mosquitoes and repair or replace screens that have holes.
• Eliminate standing water and containers that can hold water from around the home.
• Contact your Mosquito Abatement District to report poorly maintained swimming pools or water features that appear green.
